Offered here is an Aloris BXA Quick Change Tool Post which has the Wedge Type Tool Clamp. The tool post comes with an assortment of (5) Aloris Tool Holders. Everything looks to be in good condition and following is my assessment of the tool post and holders. The tool post appears to function as it should and clamps well. The Aloris logo is stamped into the top of the tool post but the name tag has been lost over time. There is a gouge on one side which is shown in the picture, but this is cosmetic and doesn’t appear to affect the operation. Also, the T-Bolt and Nut is shop made. The T Nut measures 1-1/2″ wide x 2-1/2″ long x 1/2 High and needs to be machined for your compound. There is an extra stud included should a longer one be needed. The Holders are: Aloris BXA-1 Turning Tool Holder. Aloris BXA-2 Turning and Boring Tool Holder (Has a tool mark on the lower edge as shown). Aloris BX-2 which has been machined to receive an oversize tool. Aloris BXA-4 Boring Tool Holder. Aloris BXA-18 Multiple Holder. Sale is final so please ask any questions you might have. Offered here is an original Aloris BXA Quick Change Tool Post equipped with an assortment of (9) BXA size holders. This came from a shop that was using a Phase II BXA size tool post on a 13 Colchester Lathe. The holders that were already on hand were put with the Aloris Tool Post. As the picture shows, the compound nut probably needs to be machined for your lathe compound. Also, as a result of sitting on a shelf in the tool room the tool post should be cleaned. The tool holders are assorted, and are as follows. BXA-1 Turning Tool Holder and BXA-2 Turning and Boring Tool Holder.
