The head is also drilled for mounting on other types of tool carriages. The newly designed models of super-precision single-dovetail heads, accepts any of the wide range of tool holders in the same series, providing quick tool changing flexibility and repeat accuracy at the flick of a handle-one quarter turn locks holder in working position within. 0001 inches of preset position everytime. Costly time loss due to repetitive realignment is eliminated. The socket wrench handle, included in the basic head price, is removable for possible clearance requirements when used on CNC lathes. Type: Automatic Locking Quick-Change Tooling Nut Assembly. Patent Marking: 3,829,109. The nut body is permanently engraved. “TSD #808155 KWIK-SWITCH II”. Customer inventory records describe this part as. “TSD Nut Assembly for Quick Change Tooling”. “For Cross 3, 4 & 6″. “808155 Kwik Switch II”. This is a Kwik-Switch II automatic locking nut assembly. Kwik-Switch II automatic nuts are different from earlier Kwik-Switch I manual nuts and should not be assumed interchangeable. The listing includes the nut assembly and the loose spring and locking components shown in the photographs. No additional tooling, master holder or wrench is included. New old stock from industrial storeroom inventory. The original storage bag and identification tag show shelf wear. Part number 808155 does not appear in the current public Universal DeVlieg replacement-nut chart and may be an older or application-specific configuration. Customer records associate it with Cross 3, 4 and 6 equipment, but the exact Cross machine models and Kwik-Switch size have not been independently confirmed. Item wasn’t used very much. Just was kinda left inside a non climate controlled machine shop and had some surface rust that was cleaned off. As u can see item looks very good. Item in pictures is exactly what you will receive.
